25yr old Female ♀ Teacher in a Boy’s School

31st Dec 2016.

This was to be the last day of 2016. I was happy and I didn’t know why. I just felt happy inside my heart. Maybe it was because of Josh. I knew I would meet him today. “Damn!  It was long since I hugged someone like him. A light skin built kind of a man” I told myself as I glared my self at the mirror. I still had my white  bathroom gown on. I sat in front  of the mirror and did my hair and make up. I was definitely awesome. I smiled and did some unique calculated grimaces on the mirror to ascertain that my look was perfect. I was dayum. I did my nails and also my eye brows too. My hair was the curly type. It went well with the shape of my head. I wasn’t that awful. I tried my best to always stand out. I walked to my bed side and dropped my bathroom gown on the mat next to the bed. I walked in my newborn suit to the cabinet And chose my best and  colorful  undergarments. I knew something weird would happen and I needed to be colorful everywhere. I guess you understand what I mean. I needed to be that perfect. I took my date  dress and put it on. That dress wasn’t the everyday wear. It was secured for awesome days. A day like this one. So sometimes, I would go up to one month without it having my scent.

TEACHER JOYCE : BOY SCHOOL CHRONICLES

I was 25, a bachelor of Education Graduate from a prestigious University around The city Of Nairobi. I had just completed  my studies in Biology and Applied Sciences. That was my area of expertise. Due to the lag period I had heard previously that teachers can tarmac for sometime before getting a “good job” , I had opted out for sometime to negotiate a top job in one of the thriving private  prominent schools.

I went for the interview and surprisingly, there wasn’t any harsh words nor appearances from The board. It consisted of 6 members. Two ladies and four gentlemen. All dressed to impress. Only the smiles and the teeth could say something good was cooking behind my back. I thought. Before, I walked out, they asked me about my reaction if I was to be placed in one of their  boys schools since they had a chain of schools both mixed and single schools. I was at first confused and reluctant because I didn’t know what would happen if I said I can’t teach in  a boys school. I automatically knew my dressing would change and I would be restricted to some official baggy looking clothing for reasons better keep them to myself. But since I really needed the job, I said a confident “yes”. They thanked me and I responded by greeting the six interlocutors and walked out of the room aside having many thoughts.

the Inferno: How we torched our school

Our school, under the new management of a principal who did not know how we had been governed all through had become a hell of a place. He introduced an entire set or rules that affected us adversely in his benefits. Obedient and smart boys go to boarding high school and return home as redundant, hard headed and stiff like a rock. They are changed boys and in most cases, to the worst. High school is the one of the places that could make a young man a bad man for the rest of their lives.

#school girl smoking and drinking
It came a time when one student whistled at a lady teacher who had recently been employed inside the school.s She was strikingly beautiful and a spectacle to all the boys in the school.

HIGH SCHOOL HAS STARTED TO BECOME THE BREEDING GROUND FOR RELATIONSHIPS AND BAD BEHAVIOUR

high school changed the good girl <

High school regrets smell like bad food; like a corpse left in a garbage downstream in the middle of summer. They dig and burn your soul especially if you are in the ‘I wish I knew phase’.
