Check out  HANNAH AND OLIVER PART ONE of this story

Oliver got to his house; he thunderously banged the door open using his right leg and sat on the carpeted floor.  His both hands had held his head. Those tears, which people would like to, hide publicly were busy rolling down his face.  He held his chin. Looking at the place she had slept, he got up and walked to the sofa where she had lay and got hold of the seat covers. He put them in his nose, sniffed them strongly, and later held them close to his heart. This is the time he realized that he had lost something big in his life. He took a paper and a pencil from the shelf at a certain beautiful corner and put the land cruiser’s identification numbers on paper. He rushed upstairs, wore his big jungle jacket, and also put in place a machete. He was determined to do this. He was going after Hannah.

So let’s look at life as it is. From when we started reasoning and perceiving things in a more proficient and ethical way, we have discovered a lot of ‘pregnant’ issues pertaining occupations and professionalism in the Kenyan sector. Not only could this issues discussed here be effective or beneficial in Kenya, but also to innovative people across Africa and the world especially in countries with the same status-quo as our country Kenya.
In Kenya, 90% of citizens go to school so as we can be able to self-sustain ourselves financially –just to help us put our heads above water. That is a fact. Those people who did not go to school are normally considered poor and illiterate. That is what most people believe in. and in fact, 90% of those who did not go to school find it very hard to make it in life. Why? Does it mean learning until university is the new financial hot cake to success? No! Absolutely no.

the TEMPTING WAVE

she was left alone at 9 yrs in this horrid world

she was left alone at 9 yrs in this horrid world

She had already lost hope in life when her parents succumbed to HIV when she was 9 years old.  Generally, they were poor and lived that life that most people in the world can never even imagine. The shimmer of success that had remained in her shredded into thin air.  She did not know the next step to take.  For the first 2 weeks after the demise of her last guardian, Joy Atieno locked herself inside the house crying day and night. She did some cooking for survival using the last grains that had remained. She knew that at some point she would have to go outside and beg for food and money. She also knew some of her girls who had ventured into the prostitution business commonly known as the ‘late-night-ladies’. She did not want to be in such a business herself. Joy respected herself and her wellbeing.

The 3rd week had commenced and she did not have any food at her disposal. She had to get outside the house and look for something to feed herself. She was a minor but she had a great vision on survival skills. She started marauding the slum looking for girls like her who had been derelict like her. At every corner she took, scary, imminent eyes were scrolling her from head to feet. All kind of men aged from teenage to married made sure they got a glimpse of her. She walked with that strong confident gait. She did not seem abashed by anything. Some men even went to the extent of sniffing her clothes as she passed through the old thatched ramshackle houses that were closely erected. As she was about to approach the main opening to the local town, a certain teenage boy who seemed gloomy spanked her behind in such a strong blow that she almost fell on the dirty looking flowing sewerage. She abruptly gazed behind her with her face grinned and her teeth clenched. She wanted to retaliate. However, looking at the rabble of ‘hungry’, ‘starved’ and ‘feminine drenched’ men who had formed a small congregation with the boy, she decided to continue walking and assumed the ordeal.

all relationships start up happily . and everything seems to be so sweet.

all relationships start up happily . and everything seems to be so sweet.

It comes a time in life when you get tired of being submissive to someone who usually treats you like ‘just another stranger’. The ‘anger in you’, the ‘bile in your throat’ keeps getting bitter and bitter as the feelings become more and more pronounced. You can’t continue anymore. You are bored of being the submissive type you were. It reaches a time when you unleash your zeal and break free off the troubles of love.

Jane Wambui has been married for almost 6 years now. She is in an abusive marriage. She has been suffering since their second year of marriage. Her husband has been a complete opposite since the day he ganged up with a group of ‘drinkers’ and ‘boozers.’ The beatings, the loud noises, her ceaseless painful screams, her daily wet pillow covers, her careless husband has been the talk of the estate ever since.

HANNAH AND OLIVER

Hannah and Oliver were always together

Hannah and Oliver were always together

They had been seen together often strolling around the campus during the evening hours. Immediately the class ended, they would meet somewhere they had discussed either on phone or by mouth before they got into class. They shared everything even food on daily basis. They had formed this kind of union that no one would even dare to break. These were Hannah and Oliver both 4th year university students. Hannah was a beautiful African young lady who loved fashion. She pursued Biochemistry as her course of choice. Oliver on the other hand was an American hunk who always seemed to be moved by electronics and wires. He had loved this field of electronics since he was a young boy. His mum would always find it hard cleaning his room, which was a den of old, used electric wires and broken sockets. He pursued Electronic Engineering at Graduate level. Despite him being moved to this area of study, he was in love with Hannah for the past 2 years in Campus. They had grown together to be that unique great couple often admired by other people. He was the kind of guy who never sated having one girl his entire life.
