the CRY OF THE OPPRESSED

part two: (cry of the oppressed )

BEYOND THE TUNNEL VISION

oppressed_by_kofimillen-d75qudg

being trapped in this world of problems has been my entire life. I pray my children that they will fight for a better life in the years to come.

I can see the light beyond,

Light beyond the tunnel vision,

It dims and glows,

I perceive the happiness in the coming days,

Maybe it is not my happiness,

But destined for the sons and daughters of my grandchildren.

oppression-1

my hands, my face, my embodiment and my personality are all written in the face of oppression.

I visualise my generation beyond the tunnel vision,

A sea of starvation, corruption and a bathe of evils in the generation,

A sea of atrocities that I cannot explain,

I see my children in the dens,

I pray that they will create that island of admiration.

 SUCCESS AND TIME

But here I am visualising dreams, living in that green environment

A land of plenty milk and juicy fruits that I always dream of

Feeling the shame and guilt of my sweat that goes unrewarded

With sunburns that always giving a scare to this little kid I cannot breastfeed

i have tried to struggle , pulling myself sideways and with great intensity in a way to flee myself the troubles i have faced but i know that the time is coming. it is not yet the time

I pray for that one day I will get to visualise happiness

A good living beyond the tunnel vision

A horizon full of green and juicy fruits

When mountains will sink to depths

And wise-mankind will trample to the huge ‘palaces’

I believe I dream for a reason

Imagine the visions

Because I see beyond the tunnel vision
