I ironically laugh when I hear Kenyans saying that we attained full independence over 50yrs ago. When you ask one of them why they are happy, they responds by saying, ‘don’t you see we got Madaraka Day celebrations yearly?’ did we really get full independence or is it just a feigned process that hides itself in the annual celebrations?
You will hear the village men saying, ‘we fought for our country and it’s our own who are ruling us and we are happy because of that’ Not knowing that the white settlers estimated the recourses they were using and saw there were a lot of extravagance; most of them refrained back in their country so that they could
I am writing this letter to speak out my heart ❤
Basically, that is what this letter is all about
I just had to write it today to soothe this feeling that drives me crazy
So strong and it never dies any minute
I did not know what else I can do to stop this craving
I thought this tiny piece of paper and pen would help me soothe this feeling
I want to whisper once again to those pretty little ears of yours
Fill them with a bunch of silly things
Pull them towards me
I want to see those hazel eyes
See them dazzling on my site
I want this letter to relieve that sheer agony
Shorten the distance that separates us
See you close to me again like it always happened
Maybe am being too emotional
I would not take this feeling anymore
Makes my heart jump a little
I see you pretty cute brown face staring at me
When I wake up it is always a dream
Always wishing to make it a reality

Jonte and Cate Jenner had completed their degrees at a widely recognized University. Completing the degrees was the happiest thing in life that really made them match. After two years of experience, they met again at the same university. Coincidentally, they all wanted to pursue a master’s course. They met across an isolated path as Jonte was going to the lecture hall.
At first, he could not seem to get a clear view. He sent glances towards her for a number of times until they approached each other.
‘Jenner!’ he called out as if he did not know her real name.
‘Jonte’ she called back his name and they hugged.
‘What are you doing here in campus?’ Jonte asked as he inspected her by scrolling his eyes down her books.
‘I have just come back to pursue my master’s degree. ‘What about you?’ she said asked him, ‘what are you doing in campus?’
‘That’s a coincidence! I have also come to pursue my master’s degree’ he said as he glanced around to view whether someone was peeping at them.
They did not have any relationship before. They were just mates back in the undergraduate halls.
‘Where were you heading to? It’s already 2pm.’ He asked Jenner.
‘I was on my way home’ she responded.
‘Do you mind if I drop you’ he asked.
Jenner smiled and nodded her head to the negative. She could not mind it. They walked together to the parking lane and they got inside his Mercedes SLS. They car sped away as Jenner directed Jonte to her place.
‘How did you manage to purchase such a beautiful car?’ Jenner asked admiring the interior fabric.
‘Aha! I spent my simple savings from the degree job. The job pays well and so I had to improve myself for the past 3 years.’ He said smiling.
