It started out in the coastal beach
We wrote our names on the sand
Not even the stormy wind would erase it
Where you made a scenery of the beauty of love
A drama of love well-rehearsed and played
You made your knees crumble down to the soil
Made my eyes witness the golden moment of the ring
A ring of lies you gave me and slipped it in my finger
All a circle of lies slipped in my hand
My heart skipped to be part this moment of melodious tunes
I prayed and hoped the sun would not set
I jumped and squirmed in anticipation when the words struck my ears
I felt your hands wipe away the loneliness I had
Felt warm, my heart skipped all night
The sun rose you made me stand beside the window and watch the horizon
You awoke all senses in me
Made me smell the sweet aroma of love that is beautiful
But now all those moments are dead
My heart now weeps beeping that it craves someone
Craves that fragrance of eternal love
Anguishing for that cup of roses which stole my heart
Where skies were blue and my heart experienced that magic born of love
That love faded into thin air
Drilling the love left to a zone of anger

LA’ SEDUCTION: STEAMY CAMPUS EVENING BIZARRE
Susan Wanjiku aka Suzzy held Shadrack’s left arm and tapped his top back leading his way to the inside of the pimped black Subaru. Shadrack Kimani was suzzy’s boyfriend since campus ‘fresher’s bash’. They became one after they hunched up a successful one-night-stand.
She adorned her dark shades and closed the driver’s door as she held the enlarged steering wheel. Before she started the husky Subaru engine, she gazed at her dude- shaddy who was busy fastening his brown leopard-dotted belt.
‘Hey what’s up?’ she asked as she gazed at his cute face. ‘Let me do it for you babe’
Shaddy smiled and let her do the job. She fastened his belt so fast and tapped his rather rough ‘stomach area.’ He pulled her close and their lips tenderly pressed.
‘I like those lips of yours’ she said as she started the engine.
Her beauty was impossible; her eyes tenderly blue, her lips pink as rose petals and her voice cool as music. They had planned to have a forest-night-out with some of their closest friends. She drove slowly as she increased the ‘pop’ music volume that was playing to suit their mood.
Just between us two,
I really don’t think you have a clue,
Of success in life,
Seeing you let out a ‘Phew’
Yes it does not realise you are among the few
Who leave it totally with no hue?
So courageously take time,
The door to success has the shortest queue.
Wishing you the absolute best,
You have passes thought the past,
But you have conquered it with all the zest,
You will make it trust me, I can even make a bet.
So truly have no fear,
Your prosperity will surely hear,
Without a doubt I know it is here,
I can’t wait to let out my cheer.
