It is a visit that dates back to his success in elections where he left a breeze of admiration in people’s hearts. Millions of people gathered to celebrate and were left out of words. Here in Kenya beds were too cold and we decided to give our eyes the pleasure and satisfaction of this great moment. That is when we came up with this great quote from this great man which is planted deep down in the soil and hearts of Kenyans…‘YES WE CAN’
This is when we say on Kenya …Obama’s homecoming…Obama sets foot in his ancestral land at 8.02pm. It is a visit that has left many excited with security beefed up. I must say if everyone shook hand with him it would be more of a pride and would go boasting around or even not wash hands for days to fantasize that moment. If wishes were horses I would be the first to ride to President. Obama, the most powerful president in the land and even have a cool hug and if he allows me be the first to take a selfie.
It is a visit that has led to a handful of innovations most of all this artist, Okello in his homeland Kogelo who has amazed many with his artistic drawings and everyone now wishes to have one of his drawing. With this historic moment we decided not to be left out and also showcase our artistic work to the world. Even in Kogelo English eloquence is now a sort after gold mine with grandmothers in the late 70s enrolling in schools to learn it. They say English is now an investment in Kogello and they want to be eloquent when Obama decides to visit Kogelo in the next trip.
Many Kenyans today evening were glued on televisions just to witness this historical moment. All Kenyans hope that this meeting will bring prosperity and success to Africa as well as America. The joy around Kenya is a hope and aspiration of prosperity just like the grass pressurised to grow in three days ‘KIDERO’S GRASS’ we too hope that this three days will be a success.
President Obama and President Uhuru chaired the global summit discussing this agendas:
Improvement of trade
Making women the powerhouse of development
Investing in young people
Improving tourism in Kenya as well as Africa
For sure we would not forget President Kenyatta’s statement that ‘KENYA IS A HOTBED OF INNOVATION AND VIBRANT CULTURE’
Forex international exchange market represents a particular version of the world financial market. The Forex traders (traders, market participants, able to present some company or trade at their own cost) are targeted to make profit as a result of purchase and sale of a foreign currency. The all currencies exchange rate, which are in the market turnover, change continuously due to the demand and supply fluctuations, influenced significantly by any essential events for a human community in economic, political and environmental sectors. Consequently, the foreign currency price moves one or another way, for instance, dollar-denominated. Using this movement with the common Forex market cliché «Buy cheap, sell expensive», the traders draw income. The Forex market may be distinguished among other financial market sectors because of a fast reaction to the tearing dynamics of numerous externalities:
KISOGO AND THE FOREST MEN
As he walked lazily down the lane, he wondered a lot about the future of Osapele town. The people around the town were small scale famers who met over specific days of the week to sell their produce. The town did not have even the short skyscrapers. Tarmac roads were non-existent in this part of the country. Kisogo walked down the aisle that led to the exit murram road from the Osapele town. He wanted to walk observing the neighborhood of their town.
In the midst of the town, the enveloping surrounding was a thick forest. This was the place the people of Osapele town always: – reared their cattle, cut down timber for sale while some go for leisure activities e.g. hunting. Some activities e.g. circumCIsion were also performed in this part of the forest because there was a clean-water river that ran in between the thick forest.
As he approached the forest, Kisogo viewed some moving silhouettes in the forest. He did not know what the view would bear for him. Out of his curiosity, he shuffled closer as he was in a squatted position. He moved the long grasses and thickets sideways as he paved his way through.
At the edge of the forest, he would see two people. Their clothing was different from the people of Osapele town. They had long tattered army like clothes that resembled robes, their heads were covered completely leaving only the eyes for vision. Kisogo had never seen such a dressing style. He wanted to go and greet them but he restrained at his hiding place.
FINGERPRINTS OF LOVE
Love me without fear
Trust me without questioning
Need me without demanding
Want me without restriction
Accept me without change
Desire me without inhibitions
Throw a glance at me and leave me smile
Own my smile to own my happiness
Leave fingerprints of love in my heart
To always mark our love
The only one Davis who stole my smile
One who drenches this passion I have
The only prince who has crowned me love
Left my heart with unexplained happiness
Every time I look into your eyes, eyes overwhelmed with passion
I will not tire writing your name in my diary
Even if the storm quenches its wrath on us nobody will stop me from loving you
For there is an inbuilt person in us
The doctor of my constant heart beats
The teacher of my undying love
That is why I got buried in this abyss of passion
One who grants me sleepless nights
The prestige of my palace
I will keep calling your name to the depths of my heart
My spirit strengthened by your presence
My blood swelling in the veins of my heart for this love is my soul’s pride
You made me dive in this sea of love
Made me drown in it
Now clothes are now drenched they never seem to dry even the strong wind will not let it dry
I want to share that pillow of love and soak it as my clothes
NOBODY CAN STOP ME FROM LOVING YOU DAVIS
Part One: THE OLYMPIAN PART ONE : JONTE AND JENNER
Part Two: THE OLYMPIAN PART TWO : JONTE AND JENNER
When he was almost approaching the area, a person wearing a hood appeared from the waiting room. Jonte walked towards the place and uncovered the person. It was Jenner.
‘Hey! What sup? What happened’ he asked as he touched her all over to inspect if she had had some bruises. Jonte’s face was showing signs of absolute worry. He gazed at her again.
She was panting and coiled on the floor. Her red hood was a bit dusty and she did not have her heels. These weird happenings arouse the curiosity in Jonte to know what had happened. He took her by the arm and lifted her. This time around, Jenner threw an eye at him. She walked close to him and sat on a couch. She made her sit on the couch. She could not talk. Her face showed a million gestures complete to make Jonte mad if at all he tried to elucidate them.
