MZEE JOMO KENYATTA
THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA
There are so many people in our lives others going out and others coming in. Our welcoming attitude is all that wins friends or pushes them away from us .The same applies to our countries there are those people who always leave indelible marks. They do not deserve the ordinary names of “people” great words are always endowed and reserved for them, hero and heroines. They deserve the palaces of the kings.
And even when the sun sets their deeds stands out, their monuments standing out among all buildings, they remain great in the country and is always to share the name of the heroes and heroines.
Heroes who always shine during the sunrise and remain brighter at sunset.
It is on this day that we centre our eyes to Kenya specifically we enjoy the breeze of the Mount Kenya region where we enjoy the fruitful story of this great hero right from birth his struggle and triumph for freedom. His deeds and words always vivid and fresh in our minds. The great hero of Kenya whose name Kenyatta is a pathway to the great name Kenya.
His name is truly evident his deeds in sole search for freedom, Jomo, a kikuyu name meaning the burning spear, a spear that desired to achieve freedom, a spear that hit the heads of injustices, a spear that always emerged so strong in wars to achieve freedom, agony to achieve happiness, and slavery to win freedom in the heart of Kenya.
His words to fight for the three enemies that always remain slaving us always ringing in us.fight for
poverty, disease and ignorance
. This was his main aim to finally bury the three enemies.
A great father, a father who stands out among all; raising the rod of freedom. The spear of justice, he always remain and dwell in the heart of Kenya.
