10 WAYS TO ESTABLISH A GOOD SOCIAL RELATIONSHIP

BY KEN N SPERANZA
THE VALUE OF FRIENDS

A real friend is a person who when you’ve made a fool of yourself lets you forget it. Good friends always multiply our joy and divide our grief. I didn’t jot this story from the hell of unconsciousness nor the heaven of oblivion; I wrote it from experience, a best teacher in deed. I was not in any form of limbo. All these people have passed and foot prints I my world in one way or the other.

As the adage goes, “he that lies up with dogs shall rise up with fleas” and so does it to humans. This is about the issue of friends and the company you and I keep. Those friends you accompany help you shape your life positively or negatively. “Show me your friend and I’ll tell you who you are”. These explains it well.
There are six types of breeds of friends. There is this type of high breed friends. I think it is a crossbreed or an interbreed of gold digger and knuckle headed bigots! They deny you all favors and quenchers of life but you still accept them. You keep them “magnanimoniously and socialise »»»

with them because you think they have a room of improvement. But the big problem is the more you treasure them the more they become a bother to you. They ask for help when in trouble and not a single utter of a “thank you” will ever water their mouth. They only scurry to your feet when a problem comes calling.

The second breed is rather one endorsed in malicious lies. Those who will not at any minute hesitate to drag you into their problems since they want to preserve their status and dignity. They trap you into their shaggy dog stories in a bid to win your trust and before you notice it you have dozed off to their chloroformed slumber. Sometimes having a big head proves to the entire world that you got dire room for improvement from your outstanding stupidity. These types of guys show up constantly exchange friends as the hunter become hunted. They feel good and comfortable when promiscuity becomes the order of the day. They flock around you because they act as a cloud as soon as the rain start ricocheting

The breed that comes out so threatening is one that becomes so full of themselves. They are the type of people who want to be heard audibly as their eloquence voice comes out so well in front of a congregation. They expect pin drop silence as they speak. What makes them completely ‘off board’ is the fact that they don’t like hearing other people’s suggestions. They feel the power of authority flow down their veins and only want to splash it on you. They got to understand that life is a cyclic motion what goes around comes around.

Promote good relations with other people if you want to earn the term ‘friend’. A friend who treasures you and will not leave your sight at any one moment. One who walks in while others walk out. Some friends are always a nag on your shoulders always dragging your name to the gutter.

To sum up always have a friend at your side and a true one at that. As Jennie Churchill said, always learn to appreciate and treat your friends as you do to your best pictures and place them in their best light
